One evening at my sister's home, her daughter — barely old enough for UKG — came home from school and asked her a simple question: why doesn't she have anything red on her lips, like all the other girls in her class?

It stopped me. A five-year-old was already noticing, already wanting to belong — and the only options waiting for her, for any of us, were built on synthetic dyes, heavy metals, and chemicals we can barely pronounce, let alone explain to a child.

That question became a decision: to build something safe enough for a five-year-old and honest enough for grown women — colour drawn from the earth itself, not a lab. Meulane started as a formulation for my niece. It's grown into a promise we hold for every face that wears it.
